Inflation Tame, Huh? My Electricity Rates Just Jumped 50%

As of today, June 1, 2007, my local utility company has raised its rates 50%.

The good news is, according to the federal government inflation is a tame  2.57%.

See why I think the reported rate of inflation is a lie?
